MONASH AGED CARE VILLAGE
Contracting directly to Goodwin Aged Care Services, a leading aged care provider in the ACT, Group One completed construction of civil works to Monash Aged Care Village in 2009.
FOR THE GOLDEN YEARS
Construction included the site servicing of 156 separate residential blocks, a lifestyle centre and residential aged care facility. Due to the high quantity of small size blocks and significant number of services to each unit (sewer, stormwater, water, power, communications, gas, nurse call, etc.), the installation of underground services in the space available required significant technical expertise.
As part of the works Group One constructed a large pond and associated spillway, complete with irrigation pump, tank & reticulation system. Spanning the new water feature is the eye catching dual span arch bridge finished with sandstone.
